Venice, the growing private AI platform, has seen its token usage more than double since June.
AI Venice’s private platform now processes 250 billion tokens per day, founder Erik Voorhees said Wednesdayi.e. usage more than doubled since June 2026.
What’s the scoop?
-
Summer surge: Voorhees released the statistic on X, citing the announcement he made last June when the platform first reached 100 billion daily tokens. The rise to 250B marks an increase of 150% in three months.
-
What this means: In the context of AI, a token is the unit that models use to read and write. As a result, 250 billion tokens per day is a measure of the amount of text (and associated models) that Venice circulates through its systems. Rapid growth in API and application inference, including agent workloads, is driving this latest push.
