The first day of the big US conference began with major partnerships and announcements involving the likes of Robinhood and BNY, as well as new treasury capabilities and final OCC approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
The company behind XRP followed these developments with a major Coinbase integration and new numbers showing how quickly its broader institutional business is growing.
Coinbase and RLUSD
Ripple and the main American exchange announcement that RLUSD is now available on several of the latter platforms, including Coinbase Prime, the current trading platform, and the company’s retail app, significantly expanding access to the stablecoin in the United States.
Retail and institutional clients can convert US dollars and other dollar-denominated stablecoins to RLUSD on a 1:1 basis. Support for Coinbase Global Exchange customers is also expected to follow, including the ability to use RLUSD as collateral.
The integration covers XRP Ledger, Base, and Ethereum, giving users multiple options for depositing and withdrawing Ripple assets. The Brad Garlinghouse-led company will also provide liquidity on Base to support the expansion of RLUSD there.
The stablecoin’s market capitalization surpassed $2.6 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap, after its launch in late 2024. It is increasingly used for payments, institutional markets, trading and on-chain finance.
“Our partnership with Coinbase addresses this demand head-on. It brings RLUSD to the largest institutional client base in the US crypto market, in terms of execution, settlement and custody, all in one place,” commented Jack McDonald, SVP of Stablecoins at Ripple.
This deal follows Ripple’s Day 0 announcements with Robinhood, where RLUSD was positioned for use in retail services, institutional settlement, and Bitstamp by Robinhood.
Product revenue nears $900 million
The other major development highlighted During the first full day of the conference, Ripple is poised to leave 2026 with an annualized revenue run rate of nearly $900 million. The company also reported that more than 1,700 institutions, corporations and businesses now use its infrastructure, while the number of customers has tripled this year.
Ripple explained that its products have enabled more than $16 trillion in transactions in 2025, while Ripple Payments is approaching $150 billion in lifetime volume across more than 60 payment marketplaces.
The company attributes much of its recent expansion to the fact that its customers are increasingly using several of its products together rather than relying on a single service. Robinhood, BNY, DriveWealth and Water.org were among the examples cited in payments, custody, stablecoins, prime brokerage and cash management.
