Telegram plans to roll out a non-custodial native Gram wallet to its messaging app this summer, potentially offering self-custodial crypto payments to more than 1 billion monthly active users.
In a post published on Wednesday, founder Pavel Durov said the wallet would allow users to send cryptocurrencies instantly and without fees. He described it as “the largest deployment of a non-custodial crypto wallet in human history,” although Telegram did not disclose a firm launch date or additional technical details.
